HKUST SSC

The HKUST Sustainable Smart Campus as a Living Lab (SSC) is an initiative to transform the HKUST campus into a platform for learning, experimenting, and showcasing new ideas and approaches related to sustainability. I've had multiple experiences creating websites for various departments in HKUST before, but because this initiative is run by a younger, more progressive team, I was given the opportunity to break out of their usual "corporate identity". This meant I could design something that stood out from the regular cookie-cutter HKUST websites, looked futuristic and tech-oriented, and had more creative direction on how the department was to look, as a brand, to the general student body. I also used this project as a chance to experiment with animated SVGs to see if it was easy to implement small-sized animated graphics to the website design.
